On this page

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser, which your browser sends back to it on later visits. This page explains which ones BoothNook uses, what for and how you can delete them.

Visiting the site stores nothing on your device: no cookies and no local storage, and there is no analytics or advertising. Only in the Trastienda, the portal's administration, the browser remembers its lists' filters while the tab stays open, never what you search for, and clears them when you close it. Cookies only appear in these cases:

  • better-auth.better-auth-passkeyTies the passkey challenge to your browser while you use your fingerprint or PIN.Ours · When you press “Sign in with a passkey” or register a passkey · 5 minutes · Technical, exempt
  • better-auth.session_tokenKeeps your session open in the back office.Ours · When you sign in · Until you close the browser; the session expires after 24 hours · Technical, exempt
  • better-auth.dont_rememberTells the site your session must not outlive the browser.Ours · When you sign in · Until you close the browser · Technical, exempt
  • YouTube cookiesPlaying the video and the purposes Google describes.Third party: Google · Only when you press “Play on YouTube” · The one Google sets · Needs your consent: the click

Over a secure connection, the name of our own cookies starts with __Secure-.

Our three cookies are technical: without them you could not sign in, which is the service you ask for when you press the button. That is why they are exempt from consent (article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI). They are used for nothing else, shared with no one, and the session one is deleted when you close the browser.

Tutorial videos are shown as an image of our own. Only when you press “Play on YouTube” does the YouTube (Google) player load, in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and it may store or read cookies and information on your device. That click is your consent; if you do not press, nothing from Google loads.

Google LLC may process that data in the United States, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The details are in Google’s privacy policy and in its information about cookies.

You can delete cookies whenever you like from your browser’s settings; deleting BoothNook’s signs you out. To withdraw the consent you gave YouTube, delete its cookies from your browser or from your Google account’s settings. Withdrawing it is as easy as giving it: as long as you do not press “Play on YouTube” again, nothing from Google loads.

The controller is Javier Expósito Martínez, who runs BoothNook. How to get in touch, your rights and the rest of how your data is handled are in the privacy policy. If this policy changes, you will see it here with its new revision date.
